*Welcome to Flying Smiles Kites! Located in Corolla, North Carolina The Store will be closed between January 10th through the 16th for KTAI. Flying Smiles Kites is the newest kite store located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After many years of flying and traveling the country for kite events, we opened our doors in Corolla, right across from the Currituck Beach Lighthouse (about 1.5 miles before the end of Rt 12). We sell kites, board games, puzzles, sporting goods, beach gear, and toys for the kid in you to play with while on vacation. We stock a range of kite parts, and our Kite Hospital is available for all kiters, new and old. If you are on vacation and break a part feel free to call us and come in. We'll get you flying again in no time! Please remember to bring your kite along for the ride, it's a lot easier to fix a kite when it's there too! Once you get home, if you need a repair, please feel free to call or email and we'll get you fixed up ASAP. Also, with all new kite sales, we offer free basic instruction to get you going. Anything kite related can be found in our shop, including (but not limited to) high quality kites, accessories, parts, materials, Shanti line and even clothes and jewelry. For those of you who have met us on the competition circuit (or are an aspiring quad-a-holic like us!), we proudly carry a complete line of Revolution kites and parts at competitive pricing. So, if you are down in the Outer Banks for a vacation or some flying, stop in and say hi. Don't forget to let us know if you are a member of the AKA or any branch of the Military. Also, special orders are available for specialty kites from Gomberg, Revolution, Level One and any other vendor you can think of!
